The grapes for this wine come from the Polešovice grape-breeding station, which is part of the Velkopavlovická wine-growing sub-region. The grapes were partially affected by the noble rot Botrytis cinerea. The sugar content was 22%.
This wine is golden yellow in colour; the nose is dominated by notes of overripe yellow fruit with hints of oriental spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with pleasant acidity and delicate tannins. The finish is long and spicy.

Maturation – following apple-based malolactic fermentation, aged for 3 months in a new Sequin Moreau Icone Blanc barrique and for 2 years in the bottle.
Our Chardonnay pairs well with seafood, fish, sushi and most cheeses. We also recommend it with poultry, blue-veined and hard cheeses, or pâtés. It also goes down a treat with garlic dips.
